Trump commissions presidential portrait to age in his place

Portrait of Dorian Trump

WASHINGTON D.C. – Last night, President Trump unveiled his presidential portrait at the National Portrait Gallery’s Easter Gala. The portrait, which will age and sicken in Trump’s place, comes months after questions about the President’s health. “Through this truly amazing work, and it is amazing – [the artist] Ivan Albright’s realism is truly magical – I will be able to live forever and act as president of this country for as many terms as congress will allow. Perhaps forever, who knows,” said Trump of the painting. Commentators on the left have already expressed concern over the portrait, noting how aged and frightening the portrait has already become and whether that is a reflection of Trump’s health and well-being during the 2016 election campaign. The portrait will hang in the Portriat Gallery until June 20th when it will be moved to the Executive Residence of the White House – CQ
